Q&A

What is rush?

When greek organizations put on events to attract new members.

How do I become a pledge for PGC?

If you want to continue with the process you can sign up with the link in the zoom chat.

How long is the process?

The process depends on class to class; It depends on you and your line sisters.

What does the process involve?

The process is something we hold near and dear to our hearts so it is something you learn along the way.

How much does it cost to pledge?

There is an initiation fee of $175.

Though we are not about the money we do have payment plans and we tailor it to your needs. Everything you do pay for you will see later on.

What is a Big Sister and Little Sister?

A Big Sister is someone who leads you through the pledge process; a mentor. A Little Sister would be the mentee who undergoes the process.

What is a class and what is crossover?

A class is people who pledge together like we are a class. Crossover is the day you officially become a member of Phi Gamma Chi.

What is the difference between active, in-active and alumnae?

An active is someone who is currently participating in the on-campus activities of the organization.

An inactive member is someone who has completed their active semesters and alumni are the sisters who have graduated.

Can I join two sororities at one time?

No, you can not join two social greek sororities at the same time.

How long do you serve on the active cabinet?

An active term is 4 full semesters.

Do you party?

We are a dry sorority which means we do not drink or smoke in our letters but what we do on our own time is what we do.

Do you have a sorority house?

We do not have a sorority house because San Francisco does not allow them but sisters do live together sometimes.
